Hot Spring
A luxurious getaway of a facility south of Windermere.
As you soak in the hot mineral water, your worries and stress begin to melt away. The natural geothermal spring feeds the pools with water at a blissful temperature of around 39°C (102°F). The water is rich in minerals like calcium, magnesium, and sodium, renowned for their healing properties, easing ailments such as arthritis, muscle pain, and skin conditions.
The resort features two large pools, each offering a unique experience. The first pool has a temperature of around 39°C (102°F), providing a soothing and restorative soak. The second pool is cooler at around 30°C (86°F), perfect for a refreshing dip. For a more intimate experience, there is a smaller pool kept at a toasty 40°C (104°F). The serene surroundings of the pools amidst the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains create a peaceful and calming atmosphere.
In addition to the hot springs, Fairmont Hot Springs Resort has an array of amenities to make your stay comfortable and memorable. Indulge in a pampering spa treatment at the resort’s luxurious spa. This natural hot spring is a haven of tranquility that offers an unforgettable experience for those seeking a therapeutic and relaxing getaway.
Nearby, run off from the pool has created a small waterfall that resulted in small bathable pools. Very recently, however, the run off has been diverted elsewhere. New pools have begun to form in the new spot and the water is mildly warm. The water does contain chemicals such as chlorine from the resort.
