Located along a tributary to the Broken Skull River, with a warm spring fed pool and a hotter spring without a pool.
Broken Skull Hot Springs is a natural hot spring located on the west bank of a tributary of the Broken Skull River in an area with coordinates of approximately 62°45'N and 128°8'W. The hot spring consists of two sources that issue from the base of a slope. The cooler spring has a temperature of 38°C (100°F) and bubbles into a large pool that is enclosed by tufa, a type of limestone deposit. The hotter source has a temperature of 45°C (113°F) and issues from the base of the tufa. The water from the hot springs is clear, odorless, and has a low concentration of dissolved minerals.

There is no direct route to Broken Skull Hot Springs, although it is known to be located at about 62°45.28N 128°06.15W on the west bank of a tributary to the Broken Skull River in the Northwest Territories.
