Nestled on the outskirts of Nakusp lies a collection of small, beautifully designed, and easily reachable hot springs. These hidden gems rank among the least frequented commercial pools in the region, yet they undeniably offer an unrivaled experience. A delightful trail leading to the source of these springs adds an element of intrigue. Local families often flock to these pools, which remain open year-round. Unlike their crowded counterparts, these springs provide a serene ambiance, making any time an opportune moment to pay them a visit. While summer witnesses a surge in popularity, with approximately 350 visitors daily, winter welcomes a more modest average of around one hundred visitors.

Situated on Upper Arrow Lake, the village of Nakusp finds itself conveniently located between Nelson and Revelstoke. Expect a two-hour drive (approximately 150 km or 93 mi.) from Castlegar or Nelson via Highways 3A and 6. Traveling from Ainsworth, the journey takes about 1½ hours (approximately 115 km or 71 mi.). Those traveling from Revelstoke will cover roughly 100 km (60 mi.), followed by a short ferry ride south on Highway 23. If starting from Vancouver, anticipate around 10 hours of driving time, either via Castlegar, or approximately eight hours via the Coquihalla Highway and Vernon.
