North Cantung Warm Springs

Near the south bank of Zenchuk Creek roughly 20km to the northwest of Tungsten lays a collection of small warm springs, potentially accessible from the town via old roads, although the exact feasibility is uncertain. Nonetheless, if you're willing to take a look, these warm springs can be found at 62°6.9'N, 128°24.3'W in the Little Nahanni River map area.

These springs feature a very low amount of dissolved minerals and no discernable odour. If you happen to be making the trip by air, the distinctive orange algae growing in the spring waters throughout its 200m diameter will make spotting easy. Temperature-wise, the springs range from around 12° to 32°C.
